Hide toast and activity center notifications that prompt users to sign in to the OneDrive sync app with existing credentials
This DWORD value controls whether OneDrive prompts users to set up a personal OneDrive account when a Microsoft account (MSA) is detected on the device.
since 0.9.8.11
Purpose

HKLM\SOFTWARE\Policies\Microsoft\OneDrive\DisableNewAccountDetection
This DWORD value controls whether OneDrive prompts users to set up a personal OneDrive account when a Microsoft account (MSA) is detected on the device.
When set to 1, the OneDrive sync app suppresses both toast and activity center notifications that would invite the user to sign in with the detected Microsoft account and sync personal files.
Notes
Security
This setting does not block sign-in with a personal Microsoft account or prevent personal OneDrive files from being synchronized. Users can still add a personal account manually in the OneDrive sync app. It is therefore not an access-control measure and, by itself, does not prevent data from being transferred to personal OneDrive accounts.
Possible side effects
Users are no longer notified that the detected Microsoft account can be configured in OneDrive. Users who want to synchronize personal OneDrive files must initiate the account setup themselves.
Notes
Microsoft documents this behavior specifically for consumer files and Microsoft accounts (MSAs). The value is a computer-scoped DWORD; the documented suppress-notifications behavior applies when it is set to 1.
