HKCU\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Siuf\Rules\NumberOfSIUFInPeriod
This DWORD value limits, for the current user, the number of Windows-initiated feedback prompts allowed during the interval defined by PeriodInNanoSeconds.
Setup Foundry sets NumberOfSIUFInPeriod to 0. Microsoft documents the Never state, in which Windows does not ask for feedback, as a combination of NumberOfSIUFInPeriod = 0 and PeriodInNanoSeconds = 0.
Notes
Additional effects
Feedback frequency applies only to requests for user-generated feedback. It does not change the amount of diagnostic or usage data sent by Windows, nor does it prevent users from submitting feedback themselves through Feedback Hub.
Possible side effects
When the documented Never state is fully in effect, Windows no longer displays contextual feedback prompts. Users consequently lose the opportunity to respond directly to those system-initiated surveys.
Notes
Microsoft does not document the meaning of NumberOfSIUFInPeriod = 0 independently of the associated PeriodInNanoSeconds value. Setting only NumberOfSIUFInPeriod therefore does not reproduce the complete value combination Microsoft specifies for Never. The official documentation does not establish that this individual value by itself suppresses every feedback prompt.
Because the value is stored under HKEY_CURRENT_USER, it applies per user.
