HKCU\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\ContentDeliveryManager\SubscribedContent-353694Enabled
This per-user DWORD value controls a content subscription used by Windows Content Delivery Manager. A value of 0 disables subscription 353694, which Microsoft lists in the context of suggested content in the Windows Settings app. This content can introduce Windows features or suggest apps and other content that may interest the user.
The value does not remove installed apps. It is also distinct from policies that disable all Windows spotlight features, Microsoft consumer experiences, or suggestions in Start.
Notes
Possible side effects
Users might no longer see notices about new or potentially relevant features, apps, and content in affected areas of the Settings app. The underlying settings remain available.
Notes
The setting applies only to the user profile whose HKCU registry hive contains the value.
Microsoft documents SubscribedContent-353694Enabled together with other values such as SubscribedContent-338393Enabled and SubscribedContent-353696Enabled. These values are used collectively to turn off the Windows option for suggested content. Microsoft does not publish a standalone description that conclusively separates the scope of subscription 353694 from the other subscriptions. It is therefore not established that this value alone suppresses every suggested app or item of content in Windows.
