Get tips and suggestions when using Windows

HKU\.DEFAULT\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\ContentDeliveryManager\SubscribedContent-338389Enabled
This DWORD value controls the subscribed-content channel identified internally as 338389. Setting it to 0 disables that individual subscription. In the applicable Windows versions, it corresponds to the user preference for receiving tips and suggestions while using Windows. The Windows Content Delivery Manager consequently stops providing the associated tips and suggestions to the affected user profile.
This value does not disable all Windows notifications or every Windows spotlight feature. Spotlight backgrounds, the Windows welcome experience, Start suggestions, and other subscribed-content channels are controlled by separate settings or registry values.
Notes
Possible side effects
Users no longer receive contextual tips and suggestions delivered through this content channel. They may therefore miss notices about new or previously unused Windows features. Regular notifications from Windows and installed applications are not disabled.
Notes
SubscribedContent-338389Enabled is an internal per-profile registry value, not an administrative policy under Software\Policies. Microsoft does not publish a complete reference that permanently maps every numeric SubscribedContent identifier to a particular user-interface feature. Its association and behavior may therefore change between Windows versions.
Microsoft documents use of the value under HKEY_CURRENT_USER when suppressing notifications. When the value is stored in a default-user hive loaded as HKU\.DEFAULT, it applies to user profiles subsequently created from that template; existing profiles maintain their own values.
