HKCU\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\ContentDeliveryManager\SubscribedContent-310023Enabled
Setup Foundry writes 0 to this per-user DWORD value with the intention of disabling the associated category of subscribed consumer content.
Microsoft does not document SubscribedContent-310023Enabled as a supported Windows setting or associate subscription identifier 310023 with a particular interface or content type. Its specific effect therefore cannot be verified from official documentation. In particular, there is no documented basis for claiming that this value disables all Microsoft consumer experiences, Windows spotlight content, suggestions, or automatically delivered apps.
Notes
Notes
Because the value is stored under HKEY_CURRENT_USER, it belongs to the current user's profile. It is not a documented Group Policy value and is distinct from the Turn off Microsoft consumer experiences policy. That policy uses DisableWindowsConsumerFeatures under HKLM\SOFTWARE\Policies\Microsoft\Windows\CloudContent.
Similarly named values such as SubscribedContent-310093Enabled are separate registry values whose behavior must not be attributed to SubscribedContent-310023Enabled. Microsoft publishes neither supported Windows versions nor defined value semantics for subscription identifier 310023; depending on the Windows release, the value might have no effect or might be treated as an internal implementation detail.
