• HKCU\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\ContentDeliveryManager\SubscribedContent-338387Enabled

This per-user DWORD value controls Content Delivery Manager subscription ID 338387. The subscription is associated with additional Microsoft-provided lock-screen content, such as tips, facts, and suggestions.

Value data 0 disables this content subscription for the current user and suppresses the associated additional content on the lock screen.

Notes

Notes

This value is a user preference, not a Group Policy setting, and it isn't equivalent to the Turn off all Windows spotlight features policy. In particular, it isn't documented as disabling every Windows spotlight feature, all rotating background images, or subscribed and cloud-delivered content elsewhere in the Windows interface. Windows uses other settings and separate content subscriptions for those experiences.

Microsoft documents the lock-screen experience but doesn't document the internal mapping of subscription ID 338387 or this registry value as a supported management interface. Its behavior can therefore change between Windows releases. Windows can also rewrite the value when the related personalization options are changed or synchronized.
