This `REG_DWORD` value controls whether Microsoft Edge shows the Reload in Internet Explorer mode button on the toolbar by default.
since 0.9.8.11
Purpose
Show registry keys (1)
HKLM\Software\Policies\Microsoft\Edge\InternetExplorerModeToolbarButtonEnabled
This REG_DWORD value controls whether Microsoft Edge shows the Reload in Internet Explorer mode button on the toolbar by default.
A value of 0 disables the policy, so the button is not shown by default. Users can still change its visibility through the Microsoft Edge appearance settings. This value does not disable Internet Explorer mode or prevent eligible sites from being reloaded in that mode.
Notes
Notes
The button is available only when InternetExplorerIntegrationReloadInIEModeAllowed permits reloading sites in Internet Explorer mode or when the user has enabled the corresponding option.
Microsoft documents this policy for Microsoft Edge on Windows version 96 and later. Although the value resides in the machine-level policy path, Microsoft identifies the policy as per-profile and capable of dynamic policy refresh.
